Recently my mom and I went to a traveling exhibit at OdySea in the Desert, Bodies Revealed. This exhibit was very fun and helpful. It had lots of different facts about the human body and they were interesting.
There were also models of the muscle and bone structures in the body. But, the bodies were real! They were real people! I know, crazy.

The new Medieval Times dinner theater opens at the Talking Stick Entertainment District this summer. A nice sunny day with a cool breeze and lots of fun made it a perfect weekend. The festival had many activities for all ages—archery, fishing, paddle boarding, canoeing, zip lining, hands-on and hands-off exhibits, food, drinks, live music andmore!
There were vintage World War II aircraft twirling through the Tucson skies, modern-day jets that can travel faster than the speed of sound, and parachutists taking death-defying leaps out of airplanes—the 2019 Davis-Monthan Air Show had it all!
On March 23 and 24, Davis- Monthan AFB opened its gates to the public for Thunder & Lightning Over Arizona, its biannual air show. Pleasant temperatures and sunny skies made the perfect conditions for both air show performers and visitors.
The book “The Very Hungry Caterpillar” is turning 50 years old. In celebration of this, Butterfly Wonderland partnered with Penguin Publishing and Eric Carle, the author of the book, to create a special exhibit. The exhibit runs now until the end of August.
The Autism Walk and Resource Fair is April 6. It’s an event for all families where everyone will enjoy their visit. The fair will be at Kino Veterans Memorial Stadium at Kino Sports Complex, 2500 E. Ajo Way. Registration begins at 7:30 a.m. The fair runs from 9 a.m.–1 p.m.
Have you ever wondered what the Lights of The World is all about? The Lights of the world has many activities, carnival rides, terrific lights and colorful lanterns. This is an amazing experience and can create lots of fantasticmemories with family and friends.
I went to the play “This Girl Laughs, This Girl Cries, This Girl does Nothing.” In my opinion, it was amazing, funny and interesting. The play was about triplets; Albienne, Beatrix, and Carmen, who all take different paths in life after their father leaves them in the woods at 10 years old.
The play takes us through the journey of the girls lives over the next 21 years, through all the ups and downs.
The Tucson Children’s Museum has built a new exhibit called Sense of Place. It is a fun and educational area, with interactive models of well-known areas in Tucson for kids to play on and explore. These include replicas of Sabino Canyon, Colossal Cave, A Mountain, and the “Greetings from Tucson” mural. Building the Sense of Place exhibit took about 4 months, however, planning the exhibittook about eight months. It cost about $200,000. We spoke with executive director Michael Luria and lead discovery guide Ellie Mark.
