Entomophagy is the technical term for eating insects. Some people may be really grossed out by the thought of eating insects, but insects are a common form of protein in many countries, and, as my class found out, they can actually be quite good.
A few weeks ago the academy More than Modeling Kids Camp had an event called “Giving back.” They had a photo shoot with the modeling team so all their pictures could be uploaded to the website etruism.org — the non profit association in charge of this wonderful cause. People could buy clothes or accessories and all the money will go to charities to help the community for the homeless and the furry community (animals).
Pockets are such a necessity on clothes. We use them to keep our hands warm, keep our phones put away, or anything else that is needed to be stashed away for further usage. We all know pockets are amazing, what some of us might not know is that women’s clothing has significantly fewer or smaller pockets than men’s clothing does.

The wildfires have been numerous and extreme in Arizona this summer. Some of the main fires were the Coldwater, Woodbury, Hoyle, Badger Springs and Mountain Fires. The most widespread fire is the Woodbury Fire, which is burning in the Superstition Wilderness area of the Tonto National Forest east of Phoenix. The Woodbury Fire is the fifth largest fire in Arizona history.
Did you celebrate National Chocolate Chip Day? It happened last month, May 15 to be exact!
According to National Day Calendar, Ruth Graves Wakefield of Whitman, Massachusetts, was probably curious about what a little bit of chocolate would be like added to her cookies. In 1937, while working at the Toll House Inn, Wakefield added cut-up chunks of a semi-sweet Nestle chocolate bar to her cookie recipe.
The cookies were a huge success!
In Japan, scientists and engineers have worked together to create the maglev train. Maglev means magnetic levitation. Unlike other trains, this train does not have any wheels, but instead runs with magnets.
Imagine driving to work, and you’re going to be late because of all the traffic. The maglev train was built for this purpose. This train makes a faster, easier trip for anybody in a hurry. It does not pollute the environment as other trains do.
