I love to read. Reading is one of my favorite things to do. I even get in trouble sometimes when I am reading instead of doing what I’m supposed to be doing. I am excited that it’s summer because I can read a lot. I’m planning to participate in my school reading challenge and the summer reading program at my local ibrary. I hope everyone checks out a reading program.
I am always looking for another good book. About a month ago, I found a book called “The School for Good and Evil.” I read the description on the back and was excited to read more. The back said this: “This year, best friends Sophie and Agatha are about to discover where all the lost children go: the fabled School for Good and Evil, where ordinary boys and girls are trained to be fairy-tale heroes and villains.” I was curious to read more.
The story was really interesting. It is actually the first book in a series. The storyline was great. The story is about two girls named Sophie and Agatha who find that their destinies are switched. Agatha grew up in a graveyard and was kept away from the village girls and boys. Sophie is Agatha’s friend and she visits her every day. She considers Agatha a “good deed.” But when the School Master takes them, Sophie gets sent to the School for Evil and Agatha to the School for Good. They find that they have to fit in or get out.
My favorite book out of the three is “The Last Ever After,” which is the third book. My favorite character is Sophie. You’d like these books if you like magic and fairy tales. Check out these books at your local library! Don’t think these sound interesting? I know you’ll find something there that does!
