PICTURE BOOK TELLS MAGICAL STORY

In the magical town of Grimlock Lane, a boy named William noticed commotion in the street. In the book “The Night Gardener,” written by the Fan Brothers (Terry and Eric Fan), there is a mysterious gardener who makes topiaries of animals during the night. Topiaries are the art of trimming trees or shrubs into objects.

Each day a new topiary of a different animal appeared as if by magic. With each new animal, the crowd that gathered became larger and larger. One day when William dashed out of his home and joined the crowd, he found the most magnificent masterpiece ever, the dragon. As he was just about to head home, he spotted someone unfamiliar to him walking along. It turned out the gentleman was the night gardener. He asked William to help him with his work.

William and the night gardener worked deep into the night under the light of the full moon. The next morning William woke up to the sound of happy families and his own pair of clippers from the night gardener.
