AZ Native Will Show at Phoenix Fashion Week

One of my favorite Arizona designers, Quinlan Wilhite of the brand name QMULATIVE, is on the move. He was selected to appear at Phoenix Fashion Week 2017! This event not only shows off new fashion lines, but buyers will be there to find the next fashion brand to fill their stores.

Right now Wilhite is working on his street savvy style garments for the halfway show where he and other designers present what they have completed so far—the big show is in October. His brand message is: “Vanguard wares for the urban individual.”

PHXFW is the next step for him in his fashion designing career.  His journey of about seven years started right after high school with an interest in designing and his grandmother showing him how to sew his first pocket tee (which he is well known for in Tucson). He presented his line at Pima Community College Student Fashion Show this past May. No matter what happens, he says he will always be grateful and plans to give back to the local youth scene. He plans to sharing his knowledge and experience to help young teens with an interest in a career in fashion design. I’ll be the first to sign up!

Wilhite credits the Pima Community College Fashion Design program for help with hands on experience on sewing, design, and current trends in the fashion industry. You just might see this Tucson designer’s QMULATIVE brand in a store near you. For more information, you can contact Wilhite at qmulativebrand@gmail.com.

Phoenix Fashion Week happens Oct. 4–7 at Talking Stick Resort in Scottsdale.
