I have loved trains ever since I watched Thomas the train when I was little and I want to be a train engineer when I grow up. I was excited when I was asked to play a board game called Crazy Trains and write a review.

Over Memorial Weekend, another Young Reporter named Francis and I played the game. We laughed and had a blast playing the game. We played it several times. “The game is fun, but you had to use a lot of math skills and strategy,” says Francis.

 “You’re killing me, Smalls” is a famous line from the 1993 baseball movie “The Sandlot.” In September, I met some of the now grown up cast from the movie. Tom Guiry (Smalls), Marty York (Yeah-Yeah) and Victor DiMattia (Timmy) were at an autograph signing event at Harley’s Toys & Comics at Tucson Mall. All of the actors let me call them by their movie character names when I interviewed them.

 I love lizards and other reptiles! In October my family and I attended the Tucson Reptile & Amphibian Show at the Tucson Expo Center. Going to the reptile show is a family tradition. We have been going every year since I was 2 years old, and now I am 9.
