Transit Tea, 2645 E Speedway Blvd., is celebrating the power of play during the month of June with a show of support for Children’s Museum Tucson | Oro Valley.
Transit will donate 50 percent of all proceeds from sales on Tuesday, June 11, to the Museum. June 11 is International Day of Play, which recognizes the value of play for the growth and development of all children and encourages businesses and organizations to provide more time and opportunities for kids to take part in play and enjoy life to the fullest. It’s what we do every day here at the Museum.
Transit Tea is committed to the elevation of its guests, their days and the community over all. The company is choosing to partner with organizations such as the Children’s Museum to help support a joint cause.
"The whole mission of Transit is to elevate our customers and our community,” said Manish Shah, owner and founder for Transit Tea and Maya Tea. “We love partnering with the Children’s Museum Tucson because our missions are much the same."
Transit Tea drinks are meant to spark what they call “new-stagia” - taking something from your childhood and making it new again. Just think of your favorite watermelon candy, or the grape soda that you only were allowed to have occasionally, but in tea form! All syrups are hand-made with pure organic Mexican cane sugar, all natural flavors and no added colors.
From tea blends to shaved ice to homemade lemonade, Transit Tea has treats for every age. Experience the journey of tea and support Children’s Museum Tucson and the power of play!
