Happy February, Teachers!
This month, Bear Essential News features “Oliver’s Community,” an inspiring 12-page pullout on sustaining wildlife, including in a city setting, narrated by Oliver, a burrowing owl.
Created by ASU’s Rob & Melani Walton Sustainability Solutions Initiatives, this special section provides great informational text and fun with thought-provoking activities for all levels. It coincides with the Sustainability Solutions Festival—a series of February events around the Valley: https://sustainability.asu.edu/sustainabilitysolutions/programs/solutionsfestival/
Bear Essential will be at Sustainability Solutions Family Day on Monday, Feb. 18 at the Arizona Science Center. Bear will also be at the Open Door event, Saturday, Feb. 23 on ASU’s Tempe Campus from 1–6 p.m.
