Rama Navami is celebrated on April 5 this year. The celebration lasts up to 10 days. Hindus celebrate the birth of the god Rama to King Dasharatha and Queen Kausalya in Ayodhya. Rama is the seventh avatar of Vishnu. There will be chariot processions and thousands of people will take a dip in the sacred river Sarayu.
The Arizona Science Bowl is an exciting STEM competition in Arizona for middle school students. This is a regional event of the National Science Bowl and is sponsored nationwide by the U.S. Department of Energy’s Office of Science.
The competition is open to teams from throughout the State of Arizona. Winners of the regional Science Bowl advance to the National Science Bowl in Washington, D.C.
