SUMMER TRIP GARNERS GATOR GRAB!

This summer I went on a two-week vacation to Florida, Philadelphia and New Jersey with my family. We flew there on an airplane. We stayed with other family members in a nice house. I felt joyful being with my family and having nice dinners.

While in Florida, I went to the beach. I only put my feet in the water because the waves were too strong. My mom and I built a sandcastle with a moat around it. I saw so many sand crabs coming out of the water.

My family also went to Gatorland. I got to sit on a real alligator which was exciting and scary! Before I left, I got a gator stuffed animal. We also went to an indoor aquarium. I got to touch starfish and sea urchins which was fun. The water was cold, and the fish felt smooth and fuzzy.

Before I went home, I flew to Philadelphia and visited the Liberty Bell Center and Independence Hall. Then I visited other family in New Jersey. I went to Liberty Science Center, where you can explore and find some cool science things. I saw a 3-D dinosaur video. I also saw a skeleton, and it was huge! Another thing I did there was ride a bike to make energy to power things like a blender, a fan and a light bulb. I heard the sound of a whale. It was very loud, and I could hear it from far away. I bought a rocket LEGO set. Liberty Science Center was a very fun place.

When my vacation was over, I headed home. It was so much fun to see all my family and do so many fun things. On the flight home, I watched a movie. When we made it home, we unpacked, had a good dinner, and went straight to bed. Summer is the best time to explore places with family!
