Grand Canyon Railway Goes to Pumpkin Patch

If you’re ready for spooky fun, then grab your costumes and your family because Halloween this year is going to have more history than ever before. In the spirit of the holiday, take a historic train ride.

At Grand Canyon Railway, the historic rail cars will be transformed into the Pumpkin Patch Train. Kids and parents alike are encouraged to dress up in their Halloween costumes for a fairy tale ride to a secret pumpkin patch. There, everyone can spend 30 to 45 minutes, pick out a pumpkin, then decorate it back at Williams Depot.

You can also walk through a haunted train car, a maze on the platform, and pumpkin arts and crafts. Hot beverages, fudge and other Halloween treats will be available at Harvey’s Cafe inside Williams Depot.

The Pumpkin Patch Train runs Saturdays and Sundays in October. Admission is $26 for adults, $21 for children.
