Birthday Guide 2018
There are so many things to consider when planning your child’s birthday party—location, theme, pricing, food and keeping the birthday kid and the guests entertained. Fortunately, Tucson has all sorts of great places to throw a blowout birthday party, and Boomer Bear has some great ideas to make your child’s party a blast!
There are places where kids can create, making colorful ceramics or putting paint onto canvas. Or for more rambunctious groups, you might look into fabulous fitness places that offer everything from swimming to volleyball. Also for more active party goers, there’s mini golf, bowling, skating or amusement parks with rides and games. And don’t forget museums in the Old Pueblo—where kids can explore and make discoveries. For pet lovers, you can have a unique party with animals. Plus, pizza parties are always a hit, and you can have your party at a pizza place or have the pizza brought to your party venue. An old-fashioned party at the park is a great way for kids to run, play, crack open a piñata and even have a scavenger hunt.
Check out Boomer Bear’s 2018 Birthday Guide—it’ll give lots of useful info to help you find the perfect party place for your child’s big day. Many of the venues offer great birthday packages, discounts and staff to assist you. Happy Birthday from Boomer Bear!
Unique alternative to gifts:
Instead of your child receiving gifts at their party, they can ask attendees to donate to their favorite charity. Have guests bring a dog toy to donate to an animal shelter, shoes or clothing to donate to a kids’ shelter or even toiletries to give to the homeless.
There are also ways to donate or pledge your birthday on Facebook. The Children's Miracle Network, St. Jude's, The Humane Society of Southern Arizona and many other non-profits appreciate when birthday donations are raised for their organizations. Do some research and find the organization your child wants to help!
