The mission of the Phoenix Women’s Board of the Steele Children’s Research Center is to support discovery processes that lead to improved treatments and cures for devastating childhood diseases. The Board accomplishes its mission by raising awareness and private funding for the Steele Children’s Research Center at the University of Arizona.

Since our founding in 1999, PANDA has raised more than $12 million for the Steele Children’s Research Center and seed money from PANDA has been the catalyst for nearly $100 million in grants to fund children’s medical research. The Steele Children’s Research Center is the only academic pediatric medical research center in Arizona, conducting more than 60,000 visits annually with patients throughout the state.
