Join the Phoenix Zoo at Homeschool Days for a morning dedicated to homeschooling families and groups. The morning will be filled with STEM based learning stations, animal interactions, and exploring science-based careers. Stations will feature camera trapping, behavioral enrichment, and so much more! Participants will also have full access to zoo pathways for the entire day to visit zoo exhibits. Perfect for Homeschool groups and families with learners 5-17 years of age, though all ages are welcome. 

Cost: $10 members | $18 non-members

Temperatures in Phoenix have finally been dropping, persuading more people to get outside and exercise, especially on popular walking trails like the Murphy’s Bridle Path in north Phoenix. “The Bridle Path is a reminder that I have to get moving every day at my age,” says Adam Day, a Phoenix resident who was out walking on Murphy’s Bridle Path in the early evening in late October. Day said he tries to get out and walk on the popular trail often. “I need to do this about 5 days a week,” Day says.

Over a century ago in Savannah, Georgia, a dream became a reality when Juliette Gordon-Low founded Girl Scouts with a troop of 18 girls. One hundred and eleven years later, Girl Scouts of the USA has grown into the biggest leadership organization for girls in the world.
