Summer is right around the corner, and what better way to celebrate than some classic pool time with friends and family? From May to August, the Oro Valley Aquatic Center (23 W. Calle Concordia) will be hosting several events to help kids and families beat the Arizona heat!

It all starts with a FREE Summer Kick-Off event on Saturday, May 12. From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., families can enjoy swimming and field games, a chance to win cool prizes, a barbecue, and a slip-and-slide. The fun takes place James D. Kriegh Park and the Oro Valley Aquatic Center, located at 23 W. Calle Concordia. This free, family-friendly event is also your chance to register for all Parks and Recreation summer programs and camps. Whatever you’re looking for, we’ve got you covered! From swim lessons to horseback riding, and sports camps to technology camps. Whatever your interests, we’ll keep you busy this summer!

And if chilling out at the pool this summer is your thing, the Oro Valley Aquatic Center has two amazing summer deals for you. The first is the Family Summer Pass. Valid from May 26 to August 12, the pass gives you and up to five other family members unlimited access to the Aquatic Center! This pass costs $120 for residents and $150 for non-residents and can be purchased at the Summer Kick-Off event on May 12 or by calling 520-297-7946.

If you don’t want to purchase a summer pass, we’ve still got $5 Sunday Family Fun Day! On every Sunday between May 13 and August 12, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., admission for a family of up to six people will only cost five dollars. This is a great deal for anyone looking for some cool, fun and budget-friendly family time!
