Around the city, communities are coming together for a brisk ride throughtout their streets. Tribe Multisports takes you out on a Thursday for a sunset stride down the Scottsdale loop. Conquer every street corner in Downtown Phoenix, Monday nights at 8 with LOOPS Phx. If you prefer your ride to finish off with burrtios and brews then coast over to the Crescent Ballroom on Thursdays at 8 p.m. for "Bikes, A Balcony & Some Beers."

Free Summer Sundays at the Heard

  • Where: Heard Museum, 2301 N, Central Ave., Phoenix

Escaping the heat is easy every fourth Sunday of the summer at the Heard Museum. 

All day, enjoy FREE admission for the whole family to the museum’s many galleries filled with Native American art, culture and tragic history.

Additionally, the Steele Auditorium and Sandra Day O'Connor Gallery will be hosting FREE performances and activites! Go hands on with artist demonstrations and get crafting your very own beaded necklace or learn about printmaking with woodcuts, inspired by Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera.

Explore the Night Sky

You've known it as a retreat for some Arizona's amazing wildlife or for even just a quick late afternoon stroll but now its also a place for the stars!  

The East Valley Astronomy Club's "Explore the Night Sky" program welcome kids and adults of all ages to journey far, far away! A lecture will kick off the night at the Southeast Regional Library assembly room, then partake by peering out of the Riparian Preserve's observatory.

Westgate Wednesdays! Fairy Fun Day

Enjoy music, games, and prizes at your wednesday destination, Westgate. Bring your child to meet their favorite film characters and a free downloadable photo.

This week's theme is Fairy Fun Day with Tinker Bell and Peter Pan. If you bring a receipt from Fractures Prune Doughnuts, dated from June 22 through the 28, you can step right up and skip the line! The receipt must be for a purchase of $10 or more, one per family. 

Open Voice: Pride Day Event

  • Where: Phoenix Art Museum, 1625 N. Central Ave., Phoenix
  • When: 5 p.m. - 9 p.m.

This event will have local artists, community memebers and museum staff discussing personal identity in honor of LGBTQ+ Month. Come enjoy real conversations, music from DJ Musa Mind, and drinks at the bar from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. (cash only.) You can also partipate in a viewing of Gregg Araki's The Living End beginning at 6:30 p.m. in the Whiteman Hall of the Museum.

Tribe Loop Group Bike Ride

  • Where: Tribe Multisports, 7624 E. Indian School Rd., Ste. 101, Scottsdale
  • When: beginning at 7:10 p.m.
  • Cost: FREE

Come get some exercise and socialize. This ride goes around a loop of Scottsdale that is about 10 miles long. There are a few small hills throughout. You can choose for how much or how little you want to join the ride. Most riders usually do about 2 to 3 loops, totaling about 20 to 30 miles. Since this is a night ride, you must have a front headlight and a tail light, as well as a helmet!

A Day @ Intel

Are you a young woman in grades 8 to 12 and want to learn more about STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) careers? This is the event for you.

Intel is holding their 10th annual, "A Day @ Intel." This day long field trip will include continental breakfast and lunch. There are 100 registration slots available. There will be instructor led engineering activities, educational panel, a science fair with college information, scholarships, and resources, and a lab tour. This event is a great opportunity for young women who are interested in STEM careers, register before the slots get filled up!

Inaugural Fairy Tale Ball

  • Where: Hamilton Branch - Chandler Public Libray 3700 S. Arizona Ave, Chandler
  • When: 6 p.m. - 9 p.m. 
  • Cost: FREE

Be apart of the Inaugural Fairy Tale Ball, an event for all ages.

There will be a puppet show, etiquette school, jousting, storytime, trivia, photo opportunities and so much more. Come join the storytelling, crafts, and games.

The characters in the entertainment don't have to be the only one's dolled up come wearing your fiercest armor, fanciest princess gown or like your favorite character.

Don't miss out on this event and your chance to see Belle, Cinderella, Elsa, and Aayush the Magician.

Independence Day Family Weekend Event

  • Where: Mesa Market Place & Swap Meet, 10550 E. Baseline Rd., Mesa

What better way to get ready for the Fourth of July than with an event for the whole family?

From open to 2:15 p.m., there will be live country music performed by Cord Price. Kids can get thier faces painted, while every 30 minutes a drawing for a $25 Mesa Market Place Swap Meet gift card will take place. Tweleve lucky people will win in all, make sure you're one of them!  

Earn some ice cream for sharing support overseas too! Tables will be set up for adults and children to write notes or color pictures to be sent to soldiers in these 'Packages From Home' care packages. Let the women and men whom fight for our freedoms know we here in Arizona are thinking of them!
